Course Description

Multidimensional Analysis with IBM Cognos Analysis Studio is a half-day, instructor-led, online course. In this course students will explore multi-dimensional data and perform self-service analysis using IBM Cognos Analysis Studio.

This is a fully interactive course.  Participants will have practice performing the skills in our online classroom.  The instructor is able to see each student's computer screen and offer guidance. A full set of course materials is included and hard copies sent prior to the class.

Class Goals

• Explore the Analysis Studio interface
• Summarize data to define exact values in a report
• Compare data using advanced crosstab layouts
• Analyze performance by focusing on the best or worst results
• Limit the data that displays in a report by creating user-defined filters
• Determine relative importance using rank calculations
• Understand and define a custom set

System Requirements

Remote attendees are recommended to have two displays (monitors) so they can see both the training presentation as well as their hands-on desktop simultaneously.
Audio for attendees will be via VOIP, so a PC Headset is recommended. Audio will also be available via teleconference using a TOLL number.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelations made ten or more calendar days prior to the first day of the course, receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made between five and nine calendar days prior to the first day of the course, receive a 50% refund. Registrants will be charged 100% of the enrollment fee if a cancellation request is not received at least five calendar days prior to the first day of the course.
